Meet Kimber
First Presbyterian’s Opening Doors Capital Campaign identified mental health as an outreach priority after Charlotte’s Opportunity Task Force included access to mental healthcare as a major factor in socioeconomic mobility and flourishing. FPC recognized barriers to quality, accessible mental health counseling within the uptown community (cost, location) and set out to partner with excellent therapists to provide care in the area.
Kimber Nanna, Counselor, MA, LCMHCA, NCC, works with adults and groups, always with the intention of meeting them where they are in their journey. Her approach is grounded in kindness, respect, and humor. Kimber believes that the therapeutic process, when taken seriously, can also be very engaging and fun for the counselor and the client. She considers herself a lifelong learner and is passionate about advocating for marginalized and underserved populations.
