Presby Psych welcomes and provides mental health services for individuals, couples, and families of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions or no religion, genders, and sexual orientations.
Presby Psych clinicians recognize the fear many in our community share about the protection of privacy rights for women and other historically marginalized groups. Our clinicians are here to help, support and advocate for you. We strongly support the right to privacy for every citizen in all medical, gender identification, and sexual orientation matters.
We are interested in what life experiences have brought you to therapy, not what is “wrong” with you. We believe psychotherapy and counseling unfold within a safe therapeutic relationship developed by both client and clinician. Our clinical staff is dedicated to rigorous continuing education and ongoing development of their clinical skills. As a non-profit mental health center, we also are committed to serving the mental health needs of the wider community.
It is the generosity of others that allows Presby Psych to sustain, and whenever possible, expand our community outreach programs. These include providing pro-bono and financially assisted mental health care for first responders and their families, healthcare workers, residents of the YWCA Central Carolinas Women in Transition Program, and individuals in need of low-fee psychotherapy. We ask you to consider giving a one-time or monthly gift. Thank you.
