Qualifications:Who we are:
Presby Psych is a nonproft, trauma-informed counseling and psychotherapy center. We are a midsize multidisciplinary therapy practice composed of psychologists, social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, and clinical addiction specialists. Our clinical team covers a broad range of specialties, including but not limited to trauma, addiction, body image and eating concerns, mood & anxiety disorders, relationship issues, loss, and identity concerns. Many of our counselors are also experienced in more specialized treatment modalities, such as EMDR, Brainspotting, IFT, Hypnosis, Mindfulness, and sensorimotor psychotherapy. Furthermore, we are a fun-loving group of professionals who enjoy learning and laughing together.

We welcome individuals, couples, and families of every race, ethnicity, religion or no religion, gender, and sexual orientation. We have subsidy programs providing copay assistance to area first responders, healthcare workers, and Charlotte Mecklenburg School (CMS) employees. We also provide free counseling to residents of the YWCA’s Women in Transition and Families Together programs through our internship program. We have a solid referral base, including law enforcement, first responders, health care workers, Charlotte Mecklenburg School employees, doctors offices, churches, and other long-standing community relationships.
