Daniel is a recent graduate of the UNC Charlotte Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. He has a B.A. in pastoral counseling from the University of Tennessee and a M.Div. from Wake Forest University and is a Board-Certified Chaplain and Certified Educator in the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education. For five years, Daniel was with Wake Forest Baptist Health where he provided individual and group patient care on their inpatient behavioral health unit and also worked in the ICU, inpatient oncology, and orthopedic units. Since 2009, he has been affiliated with Atrium Health. From 2009-2016, he was a CPE supervisor, providing clinical pastoral education to interns, residents, and supervisory education students while supporting staff chaplains in providing patient care. In 2016, he became Chaplain Manager at Atrium, offering one-on-one counseling to Atrium staff and patients in the Levine Cancer Center and chairing the hospital’s ethics committee. Daniel is located at our Sharon Road office where he works with adult individuals, couples and families. He accepts BCBS insurance.
